SERVICES & BOOKING

The Shawn Herring Memorial Foundation was created to bring comfort, support, and hope to families experiencing loss — while also spreading life-saving education about Hantavirus prevention. Through faith, fellowship, and community action, we help people navigate grief and find strength in togetherness.

COWBOY WAGON RIDES

The Shawn Herring Memorial Foundation offers community wagon rides as a unique way to gather, celebrate, and enjoy the outdoors together. Perfect for family outings, church groups, or special events, our wagon rides provide a safe and welcoming space to connect while supporting the foundation’s mission.

COWBOY COOKOUTS & MORE

Our board member, Dave Herring, is a skilled smoker and cook, able to prepare large quantities of delicious barbecue and sides. We bring people together with food and fellowship — all while raising funds to support our mission.

Feed The Need Beef Program

The Shawn Herring Memorial Foundation is proud to announce our connection with the X2D Ranch Ministries Feed The Need Beef Program. Below is some information!

What started as just a cowboy with a calling has grown into a ministry that’s feeding families, mentoring youth, and strengthening the western community. X2D Ranch Ministries began long before the Feed the Need program. Builton the idea of serving others right where they are, X2D hosts ride nights, youth rodeo practices, men’s, women’s, and youth groups, rodeo Bible camps, cowboy church services, and more throughout the year.

Dave Shumpert often describes himself as “just a cow puncher,” but his testimony shows what can happen when someone uses the gifts they’ve been given for a greater purpose. The same hands that once just worked cattle for a living now do the same work to serve others, glorify God, and share the gospel. His heart for ministry grew out of a simple belief — that the cowboy way and God’s calling can work together to change lives.

That belief recently became Feed the Need, a program dedicated to providing high-quality beef to families in need. Through a herd of cattle raised specifically for this outreach, X2D handles everything from raising and processing to packaging and distribution. It’s a mission of selflessness and service, working God’s cattle for God’s people.

Behind it all is Shumpert and a dedicated team of volunteers, families, and supporters who believe in turning hard work and faith into service. From rodeo arenas to dinner tables, X2D Ranch Ministries continues to show that living with purpose means using what you know, and what God has given you to help those around you.
